March 2008
KevinAndCristin.com was created to help support our guests for our wedding on 09/28/2008. It contains hotel/reception info as well as general NYC info and gift registry links. In the future, we plan on keeping the domain and creating a web space that will grow as our family grows.

Personal - Hitting Switches:
August 2007 - Present
Hitting Switches is a work in progress. Inspired by the level of randomness that SuperBad.com achieves, I had created a collection of otherwise non-descript, senseless pages that are randomly tied together by a link generator written in PHP. Every page I add tends to reflect my mood on the given day that it was created. I hope to keep this project going in the future as I will always have an appreciation of randomness (I believe was acquired by watching the Kids in the Hall).

Freelance - Kevin Covais:

July 2007
Looking for a quick an dirty solution in place of redesigning his entire site, Kevin had approached me requesting a single page which he could update with news and announcements. The solution, was to create a splash page which he could edit by logging in and editing directly similar to a blog.

Freelance - LizVacco.com:
http://www.lizvacco.com

December 2006
Through a mutual friend I was intoduced to up and coming actress/dancer Liz Vacco. Like most clients her goal was to create a website on a tight budget, and on a short timeline.

The end result was a complete site within a matter of days including a custom asp application that generates his current projects page via database. This way she is able to update her website without any HTML knowledge.

Superhappyfunbot.com - Original Design
http://www.superhappyfunbot.com

March 2004
My original goal for SuperHappyFunBot.com was to create a site that did not rely heavily on images for the layout. I wanted a site that I could display my portfolio, using low bandwidth. Minimalist in design, I was quite happy with the way it turned out. It not only loaded extremely quickly, but it conveyed a design aesthetic that I felt strongly about... "Less is more."

Revision Asset Management Systems:

Jan 2002 - March 2005

Dowden Health Media
www.dowdenhealth.com/
Jan 2001 - July 2001

As one of Mediaright's clients, Dowden Publishing came to us to host and create backend technologies for a series of medical journal websites. Using a library of over 700 health and fitness articles we created comprehensive websites that all shared common databased but each had different graphical appearences.

In the spring of 2001 I was assigned to Project Leader. I was responsible for client/programmer communication, hard coding, and information management. As things such as edits became overwhelming, Mediaright developed a technology that enabled the clients to do their own edits from remote locations via the internet. The project was highly successful and created more free time among the employees working on the project.

Freelance - Azar Displays
www.azardisplays.com
Nov 2001 - Jan 2002

Azar Displays, as a leading Point-of-Purchase display manufacturer, asked me to redesign their online store. The job enabled me to use almost all my online skills. Using Flash, HTML, ASP, and some Perl, I created not only a Flash site for them but also redesigned their online store, and made an HTML site to match the Flash one. Despite being an intesive detail oriented project, I was able to complete on time and exactly to what the client had asked for.
Freelance - Display Index
www.displayindex.com
Nov 2001 - Jan 2002

A site also owned and operated by the Azar Display Company, this site is a virtual marketplace for Point-of-Purchase (POP) displays and store fixtures. This project allowed me to deploy a new face to this auction site. With the back end already created I had to go through ASP templets and apply my designs to the already existing code. Though it was a challenge, I had learned alot about dynamic sties and ASP.

Personal - First Homepage

Sept. 2001
This was my first homepage design. Please keep in mind two things... The first: the age of dialup, and the second: that I was just getting out of school. Limited in focus, I had posted everything I had done at the time.

Working with the group, we were able to put out one print version and an on-line version in a matter of weeks. I was project coordinator and created the entire website (design and coding) completely by myself.

(Note: the original link is not live anymore. I have linked to a cached version on my server.)
